In Box Review:

Lindberg 1940 Ford Convertible in 1/32 Scale #72140

staff2My first impression of this kit upon opening the box, is, this kit is old school.  From my reading the molds for this kit are from the 1960's and they look it.

In the box there are approximately 31 parts, all of which are white plastic.  There are no chrome parts or rubberized tires.

The body is in several pieces that have to glued together.  There are a ton of ejector pin marks on this kit, many right in with the kit details.  There is lots of flash, and part numbers are on many of the kit parts.

The directions are a basic exploded parts diagram and seem simple and straight forward.

Other than the old style tooling of this kit some care could make a nice enough model.
