Model Gallery:   Star War's Millennium Falcon, Metal Earth's 3D Model Kit

Build Notes:

This is a Metal Earth kit, a fairly new entry into the causal model builder hobby.  This kit consisted of 2 flat metal sheets of pre-cut laser etched parts to build into a 3D metal model.

The construction is done by bending the parts into the correct shapes and putting them together using a slot and tab method.  The parts can be a bit difficult to fold esp. the round shapes, and you have to be careful not to over-bend and break the parts or tabs.  This kit was my second attempt at one of these, the first one didn't go very well but was a learning experience.  

After getting the hang of this type of construction, there wasn't that much trouble building it, and after building it looks great.  I recommend a set of metal shaping pliers for building this type of kit.
